Christopher Armaun Blanchard, or ArmaunDidIt as he is professionally known, is a 26 year-old American-based record producer. He was born January 8th, originally from St. Louis, Missouri and the second to the youngest sibling in his family of seven.
With his father working as a computer technician who also used to make music, and his mother who was a bus driver, Armaun, 12 years old at the time, left from living with his mom in St. Louis & moved to Conyers, Georgia with his father to get a change of scenery.
Armaun has always had a love for music since he was a little kid. He first began making beats at the age of 12 after his father introduced him to FL6, better known as Fruity Loops 6. He often would remake beats in the beginning stages of his beat making career to understand how a beat was made, how many sounds were used, how to arrange a beat, etc.
In 2016, Armaun started taking his music production very serious after landing his first placement with ToneTheGoat, the rapper famously known for “No Cuffin’” featuring Future. Armaun produced 2 singles for ToneTheGoat including “9 On My Hip” & “I Ain’t Got Da Time”. He would make beats daily, uploading a few to YouTube for more exposure.
When 2019 came, Armaun finally found his signature sound with music production. He went on twitter looking for new artists to work with, when one day he came across an artist named Xay Capisce from Alabama, looking for trap beats. Armaun sent over 3 beats, & Xay Capisce dropped “Slum” featuring Drumma Boy, a well-respected music producer in the rap scene for over 10+ years, & VL Deck, an Atlanta-native rapper well known and respected.
As of today, Armaun has worked with artists on the rise & well known artists such as East Atlanta Montana, Lil Quill, Coca Vango, Ray Moon, Foreign Eli, & Jay Fizzle just to name a few. He is currently still active and making beats daily.
You can hear his latest placements later on in the year on East Atlanta Montana’s debut mixtape & Xay Capisce and Drumma Boy’s mixtape titled AlaMemphis.
